Saw it too. Excellent film.

My mum was a special effects artist on that film. Painted a lot of snow scenes.

Brilliant film, bet that water was freezing when they jumped out of the cable car, and Ingrid Pitt always gets my attention.

Apparently the stuntmen got hypothermia. The actors scene was done in the studio.

'Right now I'm as confused as I ever hope to be'.

Think I may have seen bits of it. Guns Of The Navarone has to be my favourite.

"Never seen it "

Well, it is a "boys" film, but it's old school film-making, no CGI, steely performances from Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood et al, great story and a brilliant soundtrack. What's not to love?

From an era when films were good. Now there is too much focus on the visuals and the story and script are left severely lacking.
