Watched the first episodes of the final series again last night and am still of the opinion Lost is the best thing that has been on TV ever.
Does anyone agree with me or what programme would have your vote as the best thing on TV ever? |

I watched series 1 and 2 using the boxed collections when I lived in Switzerland, those copies are still out there in storage so for Christmas Sasha bought me Series 1, 2, 3, and 4. when I get the last boxed set I will watch the lot from start to finnish since I have successfully forgotton all of the first two now.
It's so tempting to watch an episode though but I know if I do I will get totally errrrrrr lost |

You could be right Jed, we had recorded flash forward and hadn't got round to watching it, then had a marathon last weekend and watched a good few back to back . For me who has the concentration span of a 5 year old it was some feat but it did help keep track of the storyline.
But, I still didn't get into lost....I fell asleep half way through episode 3 and didn't want to watch anymore.
Kev, what episode did you make it to? |

The 3rd I think, I remember thinking what's this all about and turning over to watch Gimme Gimme instead |

it's got to be The Sopranos, for me. don't think theres gonna be anymore though, although we never actually saw big Tony take a hit, so who knows. |

Got board after the 2nd series as they spoilt it stretching for ideas. Good gone bad for me but no way near the best on tv. |

"I remember (cos I really am an old git) hiding behind the settee in fear at the first ever episode of Dr Who and I still enjoy it to this day"
I watched that too, so another old f**ker here too. Have to admit though that my interest has waned over the years and I haven't watched it since Jon Pertwee left to do Worsel Gummidge |

With Lost it's not just the plot (which whilst being brilliant is admittedly is impossible to follow!) its so many other things that make it so compelling. The character development, the script, the cinematography, the use of music and sound, the brutal way they are not afraid to kill main characters, the cliffhangers!
No meets for us on a Friday night for the next few weeks! |
