Weve been let down by the same couple for the second week running. Weve met them before as a social and chatted for weeks, Last week they cancelled last minute due to work, this week were supposed to meet tomo and theyre ignoring us, We don't get much time to ourselves so its annoying when we turned down meeting other couples. Does this happen a lot? |

There are a lot of employers who take advantage of people these days due to the economic climate so its becoming more common to be called in at short notice. |

Sounds like you are right. Or one of them is not sure. We've had both before. You can't do anything except put it behind you and move on.
We use clubs mainly now so if people cancel then the night is not a total loss. |

It will happen I would shrug my shoulders and avoid them if it was me and see if you can find someone more committed. I always think if they are nervous then if they did turn up it might be a let down anyway. |

We've got to the stage where we won't meet anyone new, the odd few times we've been let down it's always been by somebody unverified.
I know we all have to start somewhere, but when your time is limited like you said before it's very annoying.
