In a fight between Granny Crumpet and the spider she's been staring down?

You'd think Granny would have the edge in a straight fight but I reckon if this gets mobile there won't be much in it. And spiders don't go down easy. You tread on one and they keep coming back at you. And who hasn't been on the end of one brandishing a bit of 4*2 with a nail in it?

Yeah but I think the screaming and chair jumping would just be a ruse to draw spidercrumpet in, get on the inside of his defenses and them pummel him.

Actually I think it'll be a war of nerves a bit like that played out in the old war film 'Hell in the Pacific' with Lee Marvin and that Japanese bloke who played every Jap role in Hollywood for donkeys years.

Eventually they will both reach the same inexorable conclusion that, to survive, the must help each other until the first of their respective forces comes along to rescue them... at which point Granny will take her slipper and whack the poor little sod into oblivion....

Granny is gonna do the right thing .......... gently lift the spider and take it to it's new home outside ........ or just lift it up and throw it out the door lol

I don't see Granny being a wuss where a spider is concerned, she scares the hell out of me !!!!!! lol
