A fair few profiles keep pics private and send with messages only. Doesn't mean they are fake.
Also some people don't do the whole verification thing. That doesn't mean they are a fake either.
I wouldn't even bother reporting it tbh as even though that might seem suspicious there's no way of proving anything. |

various factors in considering what is and isn't fake. I have spoke with people who concerned me but then turned out to be legit.
If they have no veri's but have been on the site a while then that is a good indication. Noting that you are straight I assume you are talking to a couple/woman. I especially think that a couple/woman with no veri's is dodgy as they have more opportunity for meets than single males. If course if not long joined bear that in mind .

I had one woman (pretty sure it was a woman but had no pic on her) tell me via text she was only doing it to get attention and had no intention of meeting. Does this make he fake? There are some genuine who put 'only here to chat' on their profile.
The afore mentioned woman a couple of days later started texting me again about a meet but surprise, surprise it never happened. Is this fake of just time waster?

like in general, online just go with instinct if something dont feel right  |

Take the profile along to the next antiques roadshow they are pretty good at determining fakes .. best wear a disguise though in case your mum watches it ! |

It is indeed a fake but a very fine one. It was hand crafted in a bedsit in Ealing over a period of seconds. The lack of detail is exquisite, see how if you look at it in the right light it gives you the impression of an 18 year old cock slut that wants you? Whilst in any other light it looks like a bloke using a sticky keyboard? It leaves one in mind of some of the most famous fakes by Wanceur of Dagenham, who in just one weekend created 10 fake female profiles and made dates with 100 men who all turned up at a disused branch of Blockbuster in Putney in one go. We'll never see his like again.

You could just insist on a webcam show between you so that you can both know the other are real?
Also, search tineye using their photo....which will spot if its been peeled from another site
We thought having the person hold up paper with our names on it should be enough proof.....but we got a fake one of those too!! we used fotoforensics to prove it as a fake.
If a person sends you a 'recent' photo, right click it and check properties - it tells you when it was taken |
