In a crisp poke on the A814

A friend has one and she has had problems with the battery.....

Not sure how much of it has to do with apps she runs though, as many dont turn off data....

I would go for the mini if I had the choice. I chose the big one and find it too big and cumbersome. it takes two hands to use it so useless in a car. obviously with the smaller screen it isn't as good for email, internet games etc but if you use it primarily as a phone then go for the mini

Wow. Incredibly rude. Offer you friendly advice and you feel the need to respond like this. I mention the large S3 as an alternative as others had complained about poor battery life on the mini. Why bother!!!!!

I have the S3 mini. I have no problems with the battery it could be that you're running too many apps. The size is much better than the standard sized S3. Only problem I have is the screen occasionally is not touch sensitive... Oh yes and a few times it says all my contacts are called "Anonymous". I have to switch phone iff and restart, Anyone else experienced these problems.

I have s3 mini. As I wanted a phone size phone not a small tablet size phone like the s3 and s4 are. I think its just right size for holding. And doing phone stuff like texting and most web browsing. It handles running apps n stuff well but is true what others say about battery life. But I am on it a lot!!!!

Ive not found anything bad about it.

Oh plus the camera is good too.

I (male) have the S3 Mini and it is a nice phone. Battery life depends on what I am doing. if I have the brightness up full and spend alot of time on Wifi, I will need to charge it every second night. but generally it's a good phone. it's useful to install AVG or Avast Anti Virus on your smart phone (Alot of dirty apps out there)

Impossible to move the apps? As far as I know yes. They changed how it all works, so SD cards are just for pictures, music etc. Probably so you have to buy the bigger capacity phones.

I may be talking out of my arse but that is what I seem to remember when I looked into it but my memory is pretty awful.

Samsung have been having problems with batteries swelling up, causing the phone to switch itself off and stop working.

Agree with the comments about the battery issues. Ive noticed my phone seems to lock up/discharge itself on a regular basis. Maybe because the software is a bit old now? Im not due an upgrade until Jan next year but will stick with Samsung whatever I upgrade to.

If you mean that you want to move apps to a memory card, you can no longer do this with the newer versions of Android.

Only pics, music, personal files can be stored on memory cards.

Try downloading some alternative keyboards from the PlayStore, see if one of them suits your needs better.
