My lad tends to have what I have, or a slight variation of.
Example I made a spicy chicken stir fry the other day. I love chilli but him not so much so I got his chicken out before I added extra spice and did him some extra peas and sweet corn which he loves.
He doesn't like boiled plain potatoes or jackets so I scoop his out and make it into mash. He's only 2 tho and his tastes are changing all the time. X |

"Dog food. "
When my daughter was 2 we got a puppy, the only way we could let him feed in peace was to give her a bowl of dry food as well. We also lost her one day and found her in cupboard under stairs with the sack of dry food eating her way through it |

Try to avoid "fast food", but fish fingers are still a favourite
They tend to have junior portions of what I eat, but I avoid over spicing/ seasoning their portions.
Veg is always a problem, so sneak it in, but they do love a good Sunday roast |

Mostly we all have the same thing, apart from they will pretty much only have carrots in terms of veg so u have a couple of different veggies and offer them a try. Though I was pleased yesterday when my eldest, roughly 5 and a half years since she first tried peas, decided she likes them and devoured the lot.
If I want something I know they won't even entertain, like chicken fajitas or a curry, I will give them something they like that I don't and then have mine later in the evening.
They love 'sausage monsters' which involves one of those big mattessons smoked sausages cut into about 10 chunks and spaghetti threaded through them then boil, so you get sausage chunks with legs .. sometimes I cut faces into them of course added carrots to go with! |

"I can't see any posts (apart from the jokey ones) suggesting that at all.
dog food 72 posts
kid food 17 posts

Ah I thought you meant based on what people had said on this thread, rather than comparing numbers of posts.
Maybe there are more dog owners than parents |
