OK,

Before you shoot back that I'm white and have an inferiority complex, let me say this....

I think black men are beautiful, I understand completely why anyone, of any colour would find a black man hot, many black men are hot. But here's the thing.

A white person who only wants to fuck black people, let's be specific, a white woman who only wants to fuck black men, a white man who only wants to fuck a black man (are there any white guys who won't fuck a hot black woman, I can't find them) and states this on his/her profile risks doing down the men they desire with a very specific kind of insult...a very old sexualised and objectifying insult that black men have suffered for a long time.

OK you may say there's lots of horny hot black men on this site that want to avail of white pussy and they dont' give a flying fuck why that white ass wants them. I agree, they are free agents, adults and they make their own decisions, they want to fuck white pussy perhaps for the very reason white pussy wants to fuck them...is that not what fabswingers is about? perhaps it is, but let me put it this way...we have date ranges, we can block people that are not an age or gender we don't want to meet, then let fabswingers block race...if you want to be contacted by white or black people exclusively, then let the system give you that option....but for profiles to overtly say that black, Asian or white people are not there thing, is, intended or not, racist. I cannot disagree more. We all have our own preferences, whether it be hair colour / height / shape / age / colour or gender etc. It really is as simple as that.

I'm sure most of us have friends or relations that we love and that fit into many of the categories mentioned above and we think nothing of it. But when it comes to the act of sex, it is unquestionable that there has to be some form of physical attraction. I truly believe that when someone specifies a colour preference, it really is no different to someone preferring a blonde over a brunette; it really is that simple and shouldn't be questioned, criticised or branded a racist.

What a complicated read that was. However, I totally disagree with what OP is saying....preference is not racist, even if I do put it on my profile. We do not play with Bi men, I do not consider that sexist! We do not play with people over 60, that is not ageist either!

Me shouting obscenities, treating people differently, giving preferable treatment because of skin colour, THAT IS RACIST. Choosing not to have sex with someone because of skin colour is not!!

I kind of get the racist element to the agreement after you can't say you find ALL members of one race sexy or unattractive because you have not met ALL members of that race.

It is a fine line between preference and racism and it could be down to a simple a thing as wording.

Of course no one is saying you have to fuck everyone no matter the colour if their skin but to take people on their merits rather than excluding all members if one race in one fail swoop.

People deserve the right to choice, others will feel discriminated against and you won't change either viewpoint. There is a middle ground but frankly who really knows where it is you fill find people choose not to meet fat people thin people old people young people married people coloured people white people unemployed people guys with beards ,women with tashes big cocks small cocks and the list goes on although the one people jump up and does most flag waving is the racist one. As far as I can see, racism is an idea of superiority...believing that one race has the right to subjugate another. Although quite a few profiles indicate a racial preference, I feel it's unlikely that this is because these people feel they are 'better' due to their phenotypical traits...bearing in mind race is merely a social construct.

And even IF there were SOME individuals who felt this way towards other ethnic groups/races/nationalities and are dressing it up as preferences - thus hiding behind those people who are simply and honestly indicating preference - you're hardly going to change any prejudices by making accusations of racism or bigotry - no matter how well founded or accurate they may be.

In fact all these threads are going to do is upset/annoy the genuine folk who are simply expressing preferences..which for all we know are simply a flavour of the month for them. Ultimately, nothing will change.

In the end, my philosophy is to try my best to be genuine, decent, courteous...both to myself and others... Hopefully people will recognise my efforts...and if some still don't like me... c'est la vie

Problem is that although there may be nothing new left to say, that doesn't mean that everyone has had their say it indeed that everyone has read all the arguments.

There is no doubt that some of those that put a racial preference on their profile are racists. But, it's hard to identify who they are without cross reading their posts and their rationales. However the long and short of it is. If someone is racist and you're from that racial group they dislike then why would you want to meet them anyway?

For goodness sake! I have stated on my profile that I only want to meet white men. I AM NOT RACIST! I do not find black or Asian men attractive, its as simple as that. first of all I think my position has been well known on here for a while

it is not racist and it is a sexual preference, after all, I assume you have a "type" you tend to go for.... and when you have said no to people that has been because you have a preference....

however.... it is also my preference not to be seen as someone elses "niche" .... so I tend not to be interested in people who I perceive to want me for the colour of my skin,

If I feel it is a major factor.. then I walk, simple as! I am me and want people to like me for me and the things I can control, as opposed to the things that I cant...

I am not interested in the black/white party thing (been, tried, felt very uncomfortable with the way people were and the way people were acting/talking) as for me it promotes something that makes me personally feel very "not happy"....

some play up to stereotypes.... some shy away! you just tend to find if playing up brings a negative reaction that is when the "race card" comes out....

I'm exactly the kind of person this thread is about. I am positively discriminating in my strong personal preference for black guys over white. Not to say ill play with any black guy on the basis of skin colour alone as I have to be attracted to them first and have a good connection with them first. I do occasionally play with white guys in group play but don't seek them out for one on one. By stating my preference on my profile im keeping it real which allows guys who do read my profile know whether or not its worth their while in-boxing me. I cant change who I am and what does it for me sexually. Most of us have preferences in what we find sexually attractive and it seems unfair that us with a preference for a certain skin tone, race or nationality are jumped on very much more so than other kinds of preferences such as hair colour, weight and body shape etc. My inbox is often filled with insults and racially motivated abuse from white and Asian guys based on my preference for black guys. Im here to satisfy myself and the guys I meet, not the minority who believe im here to provide a service to any guy who believes I should meet them despite not being my type for whatever reason it may be. Each to their own is my approach as us swingers are a diverse group or people and cant please everyone. Happy Swinging x

This is probably a very different conversation. Indentured servants often traded time in service for transport from Ireland to the USA or to pay off debts. The only sites I can find that support the "more whites than blacks as slaves" are by the national vanguard and white history. Both of which are quite blatantly white supremacist web sites. Prior to this there were white slaves and in absolute numbers taking Roman Empire into account there were probably more white slaves, however this mostly died out in the 1600's when it moved to be controlled by Europeans.

for me attraction starts with the physical features of the face by what is known as the golden proportion. This is a geometrical formula present throughout the universe. Secondly, my own theory of a personal geometrical formula.

Then my other senses kick in. Colour has very little to do with it apart from the fact their personal geometry is unlikely to map out to the same ratios as mine. So i guess I'm waiting for a black man with the golden proportion to pop along.

My mates ALL use the term white boy whatever colour they are! (yes, even the white one and me included!) That is accepted everywhere we go. I was postulating about what would happen if others heard us calling our black mates "black boy". In no way was any offence intended. Not sure how the others amongst our group would take that term..

Ain't gonna read all this. Obviously we all have opinions on it: 'I'm not racist, but...' and all that. Have had several women message me back in reply to me trying it on saying (politely most of the time) that they want black men only. Also appreciate that at least some of the time it's because they're just not into little ol' me.

Seems the gist of most messages is that we all have choices: don't fancy, fat, slapheads, too hairy, etc. So surly the site's ageist and sexist by having blocks on age and gender.

The reason it's not taught is because it's misleading. There's more than one type of slavery - and a fair bit more if you want to blur some boundaries - but the Atlantic slave trade was an industry - largely expanded by the British and responsible for a massive displacement of people, many of who have descendants living in this country. The regard and treatment of Africans was a whole different level of how one set of people treated another - literally regarded as less than human.

Because with the exception of being bi all those are changeable things. People can't change skin colour.

I kind of get the racist element to the agreement after you can't say you find ALL members of one race sexy or unattractive because you have not met ALL members of that race.

It is a fine line between preference and racism and it could be down to a simple a thing as wording.
