Some of us have type(s). I am not sure how fixed your type is, but have you ever ended up with someone who didn't look like your type at the first instance?

So, what's this type thing then?
I have a type and I prefer meeting/dating my type but on the odd occasion someone who is not my type catches my eye.... "
Thereby shattering the type thing |

"If its a one on one meet I go for my type. If its a club or party/GB then my 'type' becomes a little more fluid (pun not intended )"
...I love fluidity |

In the swinging world....highly unlikely I will go against "type", in the real world as johnny depp isn't available, I don't have a type as such, so guess there isn't a type to go against!

"Yes in the real world.
Where's the real world? Don't tell me FAB is a fantasy world...
It's all a nightmare sweetie, the FAB world."
Is it? Many seem to be thriving in the nightmarish world... |

"No particular types here, just sense of humour and a sexy smile wins me over Like your style!
me too
Like the thread. Sometimes we THINK we have a type but when we look at it closley.. it is more about a personality rather than looks "
I can't agree more but some lose out as they don't cross the type barrier to show their personality |

You would not be meetint someone in the hope of 'clicking' with them if at first you had not seen a picture and found the person to your liking...which to me means she was your 'type'! Correct or incorrect? |

I tend to slightly disagree with you...yes personality is important but looks always win in my humble opinion. There has to be a physical attraction, whether it is the person's torso, bum, thighs, boobs or face, these are the first magnets that come into play...then and only then will personality come into play to confirm that you have made the right choice...and hopefully the feeling will be reciprocated! |

Hope you were referring to my bum?
Anyway, it's the huddle personality has to scale before getting noticed. |

I hear what you are saying completely. I need to see a physical presence with a man but then for me that is not about his physique alone; the best looking Chippendale would not appeal to me if he does not have a brain. By contrast, a less gorgeous looking man (by common consensus) with a confident personality and a good brain to go with it... now to me that is sexy. Does this make any sense? |

Total sense! As always you've said it better than I have...and I now see that we were both saying the same things...just using different words. |

You may think you know the 'type' that turns you on - but if there's no spark, sexy smile, twinkle in the eye, then the 'type' don't work.
Often, people who are not your type have this indefinable thing that turns us on.

Sometimes no matter how rigid you think your type is you have no control over those hormones when someone makes them do mad things all across your body when you least expect it |

Yes, it's quite ironic that I now have to interview a secretary to deal with all the applicants |

"I don't have a 'type'. If you put everyone that I fancy in a line, the only thing they'd have in common is that they are all human. "
