yep we are going again, went to the april one which was great and cant wait for this one, we are there for full week.Got hol cottage just of the market square right in the middle. |

Once did a medieval show (reenactment) at the Abbey, then we all wandered down onto town for a drink in our medieval kit. Some of the reenactors were dressed as pirates (fancy dress evening) and then we bumped into a hen party dressed as Mexicans - all whilst the both weekend was in full swing, so you had pirates, Mexicans, goths and medieval soldiers carrying pole arms all stood looking at each other and laughing our heads off!  |

What's it like? I mean is there a daytime element to it cos I have a daughter who is fascinated by Victorian clothing she keeps going on about steam punk and I was looking for something interesting to take her to, I might be a little naive here so don't shoot me if its not for kids lol |

I'll be there Friday night,
But stopping in Robin Hood bay.
Really enjoyed the weekend last year.
Just got find a outfit tho? I've no ideas
For this year.
And hopefully I'll find my dark princess there too lol.  |

Not sure the music would appeal... Not much of our, anyways - but a) I have a thing doe goth chicks and b) as a very tentative, aspiring writer of Gothic fiction myself, it would be great to have a look round Whitby, see where the old fanged bugger is supposed to have washed ashore... |

It's shaping up nicely for the Whitby Weekend with lots of people from Fab coming.
Our crowd will be visiting various pubs on friday evening and we are just deciding on which one to use as a meeting point for any other people who want to meet other swingers.
One of the couples on here has several pubs in Whitby so we will post on this forum which one they would prefer us to use to meet others! |
