If its not one thing its another.....

Phone keeps ringing, postman rattling letterbox only to find junk mail there some twat across the road mowing.

All I want is a bit of peace and quiet so I can catch up on my sleep.

May as well get up now cos it ain't gonna happen....

Being a night worker is a bitch when theres so much noise during the day....lok on the bright side, by the end of the week you will be so knackered that you wont care, and will sleep no matter what noise is happening around you.

Did the locking myself out of my hotel room once thats before the days of en-suite and learning that hotel room sinks are for peeing in during the middle of the night and without a face mask and a small hand towel doesn't cover much

last time i worked nights regular i lived in a flat above a shop, but it was completely soundproofed so once them windows were shut it was the quietest place you could wish to live,my ex used to be out in work during the day so it was absolutelty perfect

for peace and rest I have an old canal boat moored on a quiet stretch of my local canal, tranquil, the gentle rocking motion and water against the hull always chills me out and sleep follows, plus great place for meets.
