chat on msn, a name i didnt know so said hi, a very odd conversation followed i can only assume it was a computer answering.
has anyone else ever had this |

Not had that but I did get a new friend request which I accepted (silly me) when I went to view profile it asked me to log in now I didnt expect that as I was logged in to MSn as well as had a hotmail window open at the same time. I did log in and the profile that came up was my own !!!!!!! I was outa there faster than superman and immediately changed my password. It was all just very very odd. MSN messenger is clever but there's a lot of peeps out there who use every last bit of nounce to see if they can get into your computer or account just for the fun of it.
I usually never accept unsolicited invites nor messages but will NEVER accept anything unexpected from now on.    |

We get a lot of requests to add "people" to msn ... strange names that we have never heard of let alone chatted to, no idea where he/she/it got our addy from so we always refuse and delete xxx |

sometimes conversations appear and the person is offline and its normally a sign of a virus that spreads through msn it goes on one persons list then goes through everyone on that list and so forth xx |

Good advice. I've noticed an increased amount of friends invites over the last week. As I don't give out my msn address I immediately block and delete but the same names keep appearing even after blocking and deleting them. Best to eer on the side of caution and don't add anyone as a friend unless you know them! |
