Ok, daft question. I have something I want to know about but don't want to post question just yet. If we post a subject in forum, does it state on your profile that you have posted in forum?  |

Dunno, depends what was going to be asked. Some posts on the forums make me weep for the person/ people that wrote them out. |

The little green arrow next to your username shows all recent posts you have made.
But that is limited so I would suggest you post your question and if it goes pear shape, post on lots on other threads  |

No is the answer.
Anyone looking at your profile cannot see that you have posted in the forum.
People using the forum can read your post though.
If they don't use the forum they NEVER know what you posted.

"Try doing a search on the forum, you might find out that the question had already been asked.....I tend to do that before I post any new questions."
I've searched already there were subjects on it but not what I was after
