Walks out the door stroll to work !
Lady walking towards me with a sausage dog !!
"Can I stoke him ?" (Me)
"Yes of course" (her)
Stroke the little fella he's loving it I walk off thinking what a quality little dog !!!
Then couldn't help thinking can that little fella lick his balls like all the other dogs or because he's a sausage dog is that to awkward for him ? Lol

I was well happy I got to see the little fella he kick started my day I only thought about him licking his balls as he was licking me and I thought dogs lick tgere balls better wash my hands then thought mind you can he lick his balls hence the sausage dog story lol
Dunno why there called sausage dogs anyway ! Snakes arnt called sausage snakes because there long ? This convo I can see ending up very long haha |

Unusual to see a sausage dog, they are not very common. I tried to buy two some years ago, couldn't get two from one litter. There were waiting lists, so I rang Dachshund rescue, they laughed and said it was rare one actually needed 'rescueing'. |

I've seen a few but this one had so much character he knew he was a bit of a ledgend the way he was bowling around London with his head held high tail in the air and stumpy legs moving a hundred miles an hour haha |

we used to have a long haired miniture sausage dog and she used to lick her bum but our minature poodle never did.
theres a family down our road who got 5 rough haired minature sausage dogs, they had to go to devon to get them.
and there used to be 2 women who had lots of them, they bred them and used to take them to shows.
we got ours for half the price when she was 2 because the owner wanted to breed from her but she couldnt have any more puppies after having 1 and had to be spayed.
when we are walking in the woods we see a lady with a sausage dog and she was telling us that a squirrel fell out of a tree and fell onto the dogs back and the dog killed it.  |
