It the Mirror today there's an artical about a new laser machine that can help predict when we will die.
Apparently it measures how our bits are ageing and from the info gathered, our doctors can tell us how long we've got left.
Doctors could have them within three years.
Would love to know if it's worth saving for my old age |

Agree No point in saving for a rainy day, if your not going to be around to enjoy it |

Can it predict the exact moment you get hit by a car while crossing the road?!
These sorts of machines are pointless. It only takes into account that you'll remain healthy right up to the moment you die.
No doubt some of the people that regularly appear on Jeremy Kyle will have the laser test done and instantly think they'll be fin riding their stolen mopeds without a helmet through a building site because a doctor with a torch in a box told them that they're not going to die until they're 87!!!! |

Doesn't sound that amazing. I know my car should last 20 years but that's not to say it won't be involved in an accident or have a part fail on it before then.
Be the same with me, my bits may stay in one piece for another 50 years assuming that nothing happens outside of the thing being measured by the laser. |

It funny but years ago when I was mid teens, I got told I never see my 40th birthday. The lady who told me refused money and all requests to explain.
I lost my sight though a accident 3 months before I was 40. Wonder if she invented it |
