I my self build and paint miniatures.

Including but not limited to,,,,,,,,

Metal detecting, wood carving / wood turning, metal wood and ceramic sculpture, bottle digging, stone polishing, beach combing, clock making, fossil hunting and engraving old roof tiles...

So nice to read about peoples interests Lots of hobbies here, the short version:

We cold water surf and hubs kitesurfs too, Mr. P plays guitar, I play the Didgerydoo, we both paint miniatures and wargame also I dye and handspin rare breed sheep fibre into yarn!

It was a well known local curiosity for years,,,, it kinda looked like a rubber dustbin lid,,, and had the words "Elephant Hide" painted on one side of it...

ah-ha,,,,My sources tell me the disc of elephant skin was originally placed outside Behrman's shoe shop on High Street East as some kind of adverting promotion in the 50's/60's…...
