I read an article in the Metro a bit ago suggesting that this guy who is a porn star but has just filmed a mainstream movie was tipped to play him. Can't remember the movie or his name though... but he was co starring with.... erm.... whatsherface that keeps getting d*unk and shoplifting |

Was discussing this earlier, my money is Damian Lewis as he's got the looks described in the book, ive read the books and would watch the film. However I read a lot of fan fiction and see it for what it is and I've read worse. It in no way made me want to be taken to a dungeon and dominated but i liked the love story. |

That's why I think they'll go for an unknown! The wage bill for big name would be huge and the actor would have it on their CV forever - a big risk if it turned out to be a crap movie and panned by the critics!
A 'nobody' would be both cheaper and have less to lose reputationally - a win/win for everyone!  |

If.........just if... its bradley cooper...im gonna need new glasses cuz i will be watching it on a daily basis.......would have to get several copies though ...in case i wear them out.

She never actually becomes his Sub. His previsous sub's are not allowed to stay with him or call him by his name.
The books are basically a love he guy story. The guy is a little fucked up because of his childhood and she is an innocent who wants to be "bad" but is too scared first of all.
They both start discovering things in each other that they like and learn to trust one another fully, fall in love and get married..oh and then there is the 3rd book which is basically why finding out why grey is fucked up and how she saves the day.
I love the books but it is basically a bit of bondage and spanking wrapped up in a love story

I've read in a few magazines, it's defiantly going to be an unknown type actor, all the big stars (even George Clooney was apparently asked) has denied. It's not up any of their "streets". I would pay good money for Gerard Butler or Bradley Cooper YUM!  |

Ive never read the books but got the impression from listening to every woman I know who has read them (which is every woman I know) that she was early 20s and he was a sort of daddy figure, and therefore a bit older??
To be honest though, it doesn't matter who they cast in the roles. It could be Eric Pickles and Anne Widdicombe and cinemas would still be full of women sliding off the seats. |
