New chat (ignorant or what)

Is it just us or is it same for others practically every time we go in new chat no matter what room we go in people don't chat to you, we always say Hiya to all when we enter and rarely get a reply would love feedback as old chat wasn't anywhere near as bad

The chatrooms are really busy much of the time and people are in the middle of ongoing conversations. I find I often don't get a reply to a 'hiya' but if I jump in with a convo it's easier to get involved.
I've seen this comparison before - if you walked into a busy pub and said hello, would everyone stop what they were doing and say hello back? |

I've never noticed any kind of conversation in the chat rooms unless you include men pandering to the women with webcams on or the men begging for meets.
We've done it a few times a long time ago but quickly got bored.
Still worth the occasional perv though |

Funnily enough, before new chat came there were always threads started about old chat not being friendly.....I suppose that means not everyone will say hello in ANY chat 
The people havn't changed, just the way the chatrooms are. |

Maybe that's because you knew people in theold chat?
II've been in both and found them equally as bad but the I accept that people are having their own conversations. Do you say hi to everyone that walks into a pub you are in? |

the chat thing aint too bad to be honest and we have been member for around 6 plus yrs and gone in old chat and new chat even before old chat closed and always found that people seem to be more ignorant in new chat if someone comes in when we are in and says hiya we always try and just say hiya back thats all we are saying its not just said for our benefit its said to try and make newbies feel welcome aswell xx  |

we get what ya mean bout pub situation but lets be honest its not anywhere nr same its a chatroom and we are just saying that it doesnt seem as friendly in new chat thats all x |

My suggestion would be..... say "hi all" or "hi room". Don't just say "hi", because we think you might alreay be in a convo with 1 other profile.
PS New Northern Chat is really friendly, come along and say "hi all, new here" |

Well, i have been here for 2 years (not a lot lol) and i have seen a difference in the chat rooms or it could be just me.
Im of the quite talkative type, i prefer to chat, have a laugh and banter. Thats how i used to make my friends, and be able to sort some meets.
But lately, no one chats, not even a hi. And i dont like the directing rooms. Its a bit tedious for me i.e. what size are your boobs? show me this, show me that? etc
And, i dont have an issue talking to men having a laugh with everyone in the rooms..but nowadays. No one chats or has a laugh - is a bit too dry for me (no pun intended)
Due to this, it may be why i havent been able to get many meets lately. Im still arranging meets with those i spoke to 2/3 years ago.
However, i have discovered the forums..and i quite like it here.
..i think i talk too much at times lol  |

. Mmm, I was about to contest this, but.....
A lot of people were probably drawn to this site for sexual gratification.
When reality kicks in and you realise you don't simply get sex on demand to satisfy your temporary horn, some people engage in conversation and see the human face behind the evocative pics we post.
I'm quite happy to converse if its an interesting subject, but its not always easy on chat when there's constant messages along the lines of :
You're gorgeous wanna meet ?
Move the cam down I'm almost there
I wanna lick you all day
Wanna watch me bash my member on cam ?
All of this interspersed with the odd intellectual comment makes for a bizzare experience which invariably ends up with, mmmmm ill click on that cam and see what's happening. |

Can't compare as we've never used the old chat, but yes somedays you get no response from you hi ,others your get the whole room saying hello back. Normally though once your there for Afew mins we get lost in private conversations and don't even see the general room chat  |

Good comment. Most of the couples and females block private messages so if you get a three word response in the room you are lucky. |

Well when we are in chat room but must admit a lot of time just mr dee while mrs dee sat on settee catching up on soaps i never ask for a fem to reveal anything and always behave like a gent as believe in treating all the lovely fems and cpls with the respect they deserve and we would expect xx |
