some just look boring, also I check the profile out, and if not interested don't bother reading or replying, cause they all say pretty much the same thing.....Most sites have an automated response, which is soo much better and easier.  |

Yes but most of our messages I can read without opening as they only contain 2 or 3 words.
If someone has taken the time to read our profile and sent a half decent message then we will always take the time to reply. Others we just hit the delete button.

Well I would normally look at the profile first and if it didn't float my boat just wouldn't bother. i.e. With yours, and the whole legal notice thing, I find that off putting. It's also longer than what you have to say about yourself so I would probably move on to the next message. That's just me though. |

On the couples profile we look at the senders profile before opening the message.
If they've ignored all the little specifics in our text, have a two line profile with a zillion multi angled cock shots or have sent so few words that you can read the entire message without opening - we'll delete straight away!
Takes as much effort to hit the delete button as many take with their message approach! |

OP - there's only one thing that matters as a single guy on here, and that's REPLIES - not unread or deleted messages.
I know it's ruthless, but you'll get further quicker if you don't spend time on what could have been, and concentrate what could be...

I tend to read the message first, then look at profile if the message has been interesting/personalised.
We try and respond to everyone but as someone said previously if it's a two word message then you can see it without reading it! Always unlikely to get a response lol. |

It all depends on circumstances and what we are looking for at the time.
If we put on our profile we are only looking for couples and we receive mails from single guys then we delete without reading for two reasons
first they are not whom we are looking for and second they obviously not read profile or would not of malid so not worthy of a reply |

I must admit I have some that are a couple of weeks old that remain unread.. On occasions some messages of the regular people I chat with get mixed up in there too
