Mine is Roman Holiday, however, Pretty Woman is a very closed second.

What's yours?

Chasing Amy.

Brilliant film, really spoke to me and put my life in perspective when I first saw it. I make people watch it if they know me long enough.

'PERSUASION' ( The BBC version of the Jane Austen novel with Amanda Root as Ann Elliot) - very melancholic and full of longing and regret. Top Stuff!

"Dirty Dancing"

Am mentally scarred over that film - even hearing it makes me cringe - it was one of my first sexual encounters at the cinema - we kissed smooched and then her hand drifted into my pants and mine to hers. We were both hot and sexually charged - the atmosphere was heady with hormones. Our breath deepened and quickend. After rubbing each other gently I inserted my finger into her moist warmth. I felt something hard and sharpish. I had .....

a cut on my finger

completely scarred and a friends cousin had the same experience with the same girl. Unfortunately it was not until years later that we discovered what had happened when it had come out in the news. Her mother was at the time when we were seeing her .. going out with Paul Gadd - aka gary glitter. Still shocks me to this day what she must have been through and I am afraid that is wierdly why I can never even hear the words dirty and dancing.

I still cry at Dumbo, my kids are grown now and play it just to see me dissolve when Mum sings 'Baby of mine' and rocks Dumbo through the bars of her cage.
