I signed up to this board and its two "sister" boards ("fabguys" and "cottaging") a couple of years ago when I lived in London (I've avoided the one called fabflirts or fabhandshakes or whatever it was called because that seemed one board too far, especially since they all seem to run on the same server).
In London I got hardly any requests for meets from this board. Fabguys has always been pretty dead for me, but cottaging was always the board where I got most people contacting me.
A year ago I moved out to the Southampton area and the pattern completely changed. Cottaging is as dead as fabguys was, but I've had a whole bunch of requests and some very successful meets on this board, mostly from "straight" or "bi-curious" married guys and not from anyone who's gay.
Which makes me wonder if there's a difference between London and the rest of the country. I was all set to abandon this board when I left London as it had been a complete waste of time. Now every glad I didn't.
What has other people's experience been? |

I was a member of a different site and as half of a MF couple in London. When we moved north 6 years ago that site was dead up ere so we joined fab and had a great time. Now I'm a singleton I stayed and met even more great friends on here.
So I guess some sites are regional but I'm not sure why
However, it's nice to know there are nice people in my home town too lol |
