"Oldies" who go shopping at lunch-time and dither round the shops, when workers have limited time to shop. Why can't they do their shopping during working hours???? |

People who judge others parenting skills
People who shop on their lunch break
No seriously, it has to be people pushing in, people who are rude to cashiers, people who are walking in front of you and then just stop suddenly so you almost walk into them.
I could go on for hours! |

10 hours of my day are taken up with work (including travel to work). Retired people have no commitments, so it irritates me when they dither round the shops (usually with their shopping bag on wheels) when I have half-an-hour to grab what I need.
This thread is about what irritates us, and that's a thing that irritates me. I don't try to tell you that you should be irritated by it, so don't try to tell me that I shouldn't be irritated by it. |

Everywhere and nowhere baby |
Cars that only have one brake light working
Drivers with no lane discipline
Drivers that don't signal, especially on roundabouts
And what really GRIPS MY SHIT?
My mother in law moaning to my OH as soon as he comes in from work. He dont need it. |

One thing that really annoys me is seeing satnavs on the really bright daylight setting when it's pitch black. How people can drive with the really bright reflection on their windscreen I'll never know. All you have to do is switch it to auto and it automatically changes to the night setting at dusk |

I didn't tell you you shouldn't be irritated by it, I simply asked a question, old people don't bother me at all, I certainly don't find them irritating, even when I'm in a rush. I understand that they're old, and less mobile, and that they've worked their whole life to be able to relax and shop whenever they feel like it. Would you prefer they shopped at night and carry their shopping on their back? I hope that when I'm old that people are understanding! |

People who stand gabbing in shop doorways and top/bottom of escalators.
1st is bloody annoying 2nd is actually dangerous!!
Ignorant shop assistants, the kind who are too busy talking to their colleague about their weekend than doing their job.

People who do not say thank you when you opened the door for them.
One occasion a woman asked a man directions to get to a certain place. He didn't know so I gave her the correct directions.
Guess who she thanked.... the man who had no clue where she was going
That's gratitude for you |

Kids that vandalise everything whose mothers look like Popeye and scream every single word that comes out of their mouth.
Kids who wear black raincoats with hoods up on a dry hot day with a blue sky in the middle of summer.
Scouse accents that are so awfully thick that they sound like an angry Chinese man with a throat infection. YER HWAAAAHHH LAR???
People who dont talk but drone with no motivation whatsoever for having started talking at all.
People that dont smile and say hello, please or thank you during day to day transactions.
Turkish people in kebab takeaways who smile at me strangely the night before I get the shits.
Birthday cards. A tree died because you'd rather hand a card over to me personally instead of saying happy birthday to me while you're there, which you would anyway, so in fact why say it twice? There's no prize for the most happy birthdays said in a row.
And my pet hate for tonight... writing too much on a thread when I wish I'd have just chosen one and made it a single sentence.... I hate myself! |

ignorant people who tut at me and don't move out of the way when I politely ask 'excuse me, may i get past please?' when I'm in my wheelchair.
Shops that have no wheelchair access.
People who park in disabled spaces that display no blue badges.
People who park up my arse, when I have stickers clearly stating 'please leave 3 feet space for wheelchair access' and I have to struggle to get my chair on the back seats.
Middle lane hoggers,
people who don't use indicators.
People assuming I'm scum and lazy for not being able to work.

My next door neighbour who parks his Audi outside his house but his whacking great RV outside mine.
My daughter who will do handstands in the bin to compact the rubbish instead of changing the bag.
People who stand in the bus stop for hours then when the bus arrives they realise they need a pass and hold you up while they rummage through their bags looking for it!
Being first in the bus queue but the bus stopping at the back so you end up last on.
People who let their dogs shit in the street...and leave it there!
People that put animals before people. |

Old shoppers who prod and squeeze fruit, and then don't buy it
People who randomly stop at the top of an escalator causing chaos
The no bus pass change rummagers who hold up the queue
People who peel back sandwiches to see what's in them
Parents who ignore their own child who is distressed in a buggy
People who feed their kids crisps and pop round a supermarket direct from the shelves and not paying
The scrum for yellow label produce marked down
People who fart in lifts

People who judge young families without knowing the 1st thing about them,
Cashiers who spend ages talking to somebody completely oblivious to the que,
Idiots blocking the entire path with their car so we can't get our pram past,
Pregnant women going clubbing and being obviously d*unk,
Councils telling you to put your litter in the bin and then NOT providing a bin...

Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
People who become confrontational and aggressive if you point something out - like where a litter bin is after they have thrown their rubbish on the floor.
This is a common part of German culture - they will point out where you are going wrong. It is expected and accepted. Rarely see litter and they tend to be more polite and respectful - in my opinion. |

Not just your opinion there was a tv program on about it the other night, wasn't taking it all in but the gist of it was that the germans have a greater sense of community spirit than most other nations.
I dislike people who bag their dogs shit and then throw the bag or hang it in a tree, even more than the people who just leave it. Do they enjoy standing in dog shit??
People with fog lights on when it is just barely misty or raining.
People who decide you are a little bit too close behind them whilst driving and brake test you... |

I've spent a fair bit of time in Germany on and off over the years and this was one of the things I really liked. They will stop and tell you if your child is not dressed correctly for the weather - and they have some really harsh winters so I think that is quite sensible. They consider it to be totally their business, and, in some ways, they are right. That's Big Society.
However, their bureaucracy is far far worse than ours! And racism is really rampant, particularly in the East. |

I've never been to Germany, would like to at some stage. I know people that have lived there and thought it was great.
They had to clear the snow from the pavement in front of the house by a certain time.
Racism is alive and kicking in the uk too though isn't it? The laws have just made people a little more careful in what they say in public.
Have a friend of mixed race, surname is Blacke, someone walked into a pub, a friend, spotted him and shouted across the pub 'alright blackie' got lots of grief for racism... even after explanation the landlord wasn't happy |

I lived in Germany for 7 years and can remember the first time I returned home after 1 year, it struck home only then how dirty our country is, you never seen litter lying about in the streets, as ppl were responsible for keeping the paths around and outside their own home free of rubbish and also snow during the winter, they also had dry rubbish collection day"s where any other waste item such as household goods could be collected for free and taken for recycling so therefore reducing fly tipping |

The current culture of celebrating idiots on TV, TOWIE, Geordie Shore etc. Why don't these thick vain people get a proper job and why do people spend their lives watching shows that allow unintelligent ingrates to become famous?? Why don't we teach our kids to actually aim to be something in life, rather than the no education but be happy to hump anything that moves to get famous!
I like TV that actually makes you think or engages rather than cringing, its not funny, its cheap TV that produces are ripping you off with
