Just been up to the local co op store and it was full with young gypsi girls all with three kids each and each one was pregnant on number four and the smell they left behind was pheeeeweeeee... they pick up more in a fortnight than wot I earn in a month where is the justice I dnt mean to offend anyone by this post |

You dnt but you know who they are as they are the same ones that sit beggin and trying to sell u lucky heather.. and I wouldn't want to know their financial side just they are better of than me by havin so many children in such short space of time xx |

This is probably too simplistic...but because someone draws £500 from the Post Office it is no guarantee that that is what is the amount receivable for a fortnight.
It maybe savings...a grant..a loan..a gift...who really knows. |

I don't see how you can know their financial arrangements?
To say they are better off than you cos they have a lot of children, Do they not spend their money on their other children then? Do they just look after their first born and not pay towards the upkeep of their other children?
Are you saying they are not entitled to receive child benefits because they have a large family?
Also, them having large families is part of their beliefs.
Sorry but I personally think them being travellers/gypsies has anything to do with it.
I think this is quite an ignorant thread and it is no wonder travellers and Romany Gypsies feel like second class citizens.
My rant for Thursday!

Thats ur point and a fair one these guys have stable homes stroke chalets and had new shower blocks built for them to wash and shower in they then pulled it down and sold everything they could and now have their horses in the remaining shower block..Every one has different views when ut comes to gypsy / travellers but the ones that live near me are nt the most pleasant and very rude at times  |

My neighbours aren't the most pleasant and rude at times but doesn't mean everyone is though does it |

Agreed, but unfortunately they dont help the prejudices against them when they turn up in your area and proceed to thieve and vandalise the neighbourhood untill the council final gets the authority to move them on. I am speaking from my experience thats all. |

I'm not disputing that they are all perfect citizens.
Yes, I have seen the mess 'some' leave behind, but I have also seen people fly tipping and they are not travellers.
My point was that them being travellers/gypsies had nothing to do with the original post and I didn't think it was relevant to the situation.
