Hey guys, I was just wondering..... I love tattoos I love the experience of getting ink and think they are hot,i have most of my arm covered and think they can be very sexy on a woman! What are your opinions on them and would you not meet someone because of them? Have you ever been knocked back because of your ink? |

I like them if they are done well, I like to see good quality sleeves etc, I don't like to see arms covered in hundreds of small crappy tattoos, I just thing large pieces look better than hundreds of small ones
I have two half sleeves, a full back piece and a large thigh/hip piece, I have been turned down a few times because of them, i've even have guys who have tattoos tell me I have to many for a woman, I thing over all smaller, girly tattoos are preferred on women and sleeves are more accepted on men but each to their own |

I agree lots of poor tattoos can look quite cheap and are not attractive. But some pieces are works of art and the time and effort that has gone into them not to mention money! Always a convo starter aswell. |

I don't like tattoos, I especially don't like them on my daughters. All those years rubbing olive oil, coconut butter and Johnson baby oil/lotion into their skin for them to "ruin" it in ink...*sob* |

Facial tattoos! now thats a whole different thing, I think with tattoos on the face your making quite a big lifestyle choice, right or wrong people will make judgements. I have seen some very nice facial ink but dont think I would dare go there! Never say never........ |

Exactly, I've not once criticised someone for having a tattoo. But just as a general rule I think girls look more attractive before rather than after a tattoo.

I personally don't like them at all, and find that whole sleeves look a mess yet told by various people who have recently had them completed that its something they have always wanted done.... Amazingly they were never that popular before a certain footballer had them done.
I can appreciate great art but why the need to have it on your body? Why not get a painting done and hang it on the wall? You could still look at it all the time.....as to people who say its for memories, surely they wouldn't have forgotten the person etc if they hadn't had it inked on their body?
Its all down to personal choice and good luck to the people that have them, I hope they always love them.
But I suspect when the current fashion for tats has run its course they may well be a lot of people regretting getting them. |

"I hate tattoos, you wouldn't see me with both sleeves, chest, base of my neck or calf tattoo'd.
Lol....or me with both arms, one wrist, my ribs, both legs and my hips... "
Still room for more!
Personally I love them. I get new ones periodically - although folk only get to see them in person!
It's personal taste - but so long as they're not tacky and cheap, individual to the 'owner' and unique - the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned! |

I love tattoos on a woman. Unless they're tacky like names etc.
I have 4. 3 on my back, 1 on my ankle. I need money for my next one. It's a comic character but I know no one's got this one at all because I designed it.
One thing that really bugs me is the people who say "oh this one symbolizes me becoming my own person blah blah blah".
What happened to getting one just because you like it? |

I love love love tattoos especially if they have been done professionally and are well done. Personally I like the heavily tattooed arms, torso, legs look, there`s a guy on here with very nice tattoos, especially in those white pants |

I'm currently working with an artist for my back piece. It's going to be black n grey portraits of my musical hero's (Django Reinhardt, Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore and Eddie Van Halen). It's going to be pretty mammoth and bloody expensive. |

I all depends on how big it is, how big you're willing to go and if you can find/design something to cover it. If its really dark you might struggle though. |

I love to see large, well done tattoos (sleeves etc.) on men or women. I really appreciate the artistic talent that goes into them and the statement it makes about the person with them.
Having said that, I hate loads of small, crappy tattoos, just looks cheap and nasty. Its each to their own and I'm not knocking anyone for having them but its my own tastes and opinions.
J has a few and one of them, a dragon covering the lower half of her leg is amazing! It took 11 hours in one sitting to do it and it looks incredible! |

I only have the one (4 weeks old on top of my foot) and I love it. Tattoos on a man/woman are hot...although as with everything, it is a preference. Personally I prefer black and white or same colour scheme tattoos. Generally I find them hot and it would not stop me from meeting! |

My cover-up was an enormous Koi that covers the whole upper arm.
I went in and Kev, my tattooist, said what do you want? I said something Japanese so he freehanded it. He didn't even tell me what he was going to do!
It's a good job I trust him...lol |
