I'm a new seller on there and he mailed me privately with a fake web page and a postal address in Nigeria and an extra £70 for postage. I was nearly caught on another site a few years ago so alarm bells rang when he said the payment page was down but to send anyway and apyment would show in a few days! |

"I apologize for it being early
But why does the kindle fire Battery not last longer.
Almost finished a book, it Dies on me.
Arrggh.
That is all. "
Hello. The Kindle Fire is an Android based device and (due to its colour screen etc) will have a reduced runtime versus ordinary Kindles.
To increase the battery life,
a) Install a good memory / task manager. Android Assistant is highly recommended - turn on the 'Auto Boost' feature set to 30 minutes to have it automatically kill background tasks that may be consuming additional battery resources.
b) Manually adjust the screen brightness - often the screen is just draining power 'shining like a national guitar' when it could be 50% dimmer with no visible loss in readability.
c) (Optional) Buy a Kindle Paperwhite. |

You are so knwledgeable, I wonder if you know what those 'life rechargeable batteries' are called. My bberry has a short battery life and when travelling its even worse. Someone on the train recently lent me a device that had so much power it kept it going. I just cannot remember what it was. Sorry to highjack the rant |

Was the thing he lend you a case that the Blackberry slipped into? It could have been a Case-Mate Fuel Battery Pack (or similar)
Or there are external (portable chargers) which can be used to re-charge your device such as the 'Freeloader' which is a portable solar device with a built in battery (which can be charged from a PC also) |

Also take a look at :
Anker Astro Series (3E/E4/Pro)
New Trent iCarrier/iGeek
Energizer XP Series (XP1000/XP18000A)
Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation
HyperJuice Plug
They were all recently voted top portable chargers on a poll on Lifehacker. |

Can I ask, where is best to download the books for a nook?
I keep getting frustrated and refuse to pay a lot for a download |
