I love disaster movies so long as they don't completely overdo it. Saying that, 'The Day After Tomorrow' was Emmerich's best and I remember liking 'Daylight' with Sly Stallone before it faded rapidly into obscurity.
The Day After is probably my favourite classic though (the nuclear fallout TV movie, not to be mistaken for the aforementioned nuclear winter film) |

And the Danny Boyle one where the guy cuts off his hand. That was pretty well made. "
And 127 Hours. Surprised so many people still criticise that film |
