I live st leonards side of hastings and when i go to the other side in the old town i still consider myself a local as it all comes under the hastings umbrella
How far away would you have to be from somewhere to be considered not local?

Depends on who people define local......have lived in places where I have always been considered an 'incomer' and where it can be thirty years before they will consider you a local.

But in terms of distance I would consider up to 20/30 miles local to where I live |

"To me it's how long it takes me to get there. I don't drive so 30 miles even though distance wise id say is local can be a pain in the arse to get to on public transport. X"
