ok here goes....
I once read aline in some book and it wnet like this
If a tree falls down in a forest and there is no one there to see it fall does it make a sound !!!
Therfore in a bit of a quantum leap here and please forgive me !!!
If a person cheats on a partner and the partner doesn't know they are cheating...
is it cheating !!!!

You don't need to hear a falling tree to know it makes a sound.
It's isn't a very good analogy to try and explain cheating. Cheating isn't a momentary act that has no consequences. It involves seeking out another person, wooing him/her, arranging times & dates for secret trysts, lying to your partner so that you can complete the deceit.
Hardly a falling tree is it. |

is it still cheating if you dont get caught?

well the swinging v cheating finished nicely and thanks to all.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss, again I don't condone cheating, but it seems some here have more of a problem knowing someone is cheating than having it hidden from them, at least they can feel guilt free. 
My point is, I'm happy for anyone being honest here if they are cheating, at least we can make a judged decision on whether or not to meet them, but as someone said in the other thread, if in a club they don't know the status of the singles they play with, just hope they are not cheating, or hope to not find out if they are cheating, either way a guilt free mind.
A lot of it stinks of hypocrisy. |
