So whilst playing Mr Brightside earlier as it's great song, my wife suggested that the song was about a Cuckold situation, which I couldn't agree more with.
Sadly upon research it appears not.
Has anyone thought the same.  |

This just happens to be my all time favor it song.
I personally think its about the time when you have split up with someone and you find that she has met someone else and you haven't yet moved on, the thought of them together is keeping you awake at night as you just play the image of them together over and over again but not being able to admit it to friends.
That's just my opinion though |

Now I love Mr brightside,and I don't see the cuckold situation at all.
I always thought it was about a recovering guy,regressing back to his paranoid personality disorder,which is once again about to ruin his life.
Although I haven't given it much thought lol  |

I have read a couple if different meanings to the song was but Were sticking with the Cuckold one.

We went to see them a couple of years ago at the NEC. Just a shame we had to buy tickets off ebay at twice the price. Worth every penny of course. |
