clean the area with water then something like TCP. antistamine cream is the best thing you can put on it.

Oral antihistamine and an antisceptic cream (savlon/germoline) to take away the soreness.

Horse fly bites can be quite nasty, you may get a temperature/sweaty or feel nauseous. If you do vomit or get a bad headache I'd suggest you go to your local walk in centre to get checked out.

I've been camping quite a bit recently, and was bitten over 20 times. Thankfully only serious itching and a few scars. Scary things if you have an infection.

antihistamine cream and tablets did the trick. Pharmacist had to inspect one right by my inner thigh that was particularly nasty.

Yes died while out with his daughter attending to her horses big bloke killed by a little bloody fly

Hydrocortisone cream is what we recommend ( I work in a pharmacy) it stops the itching and takes down the redness and inflammation

Horseflies are the bane of my life as I work with horses, ice packs and antihistamine tablets, if it gets infected antibiotics from the docs x
