It's a type of camping growing I popularity especially in America where the hammocks do get referred to at times a bear piñatas by the ground pounders (tent dwellers). The is no evidence though that bears pay them any more or less attention than tents.
Anything which can be classed as camping in the UK requires land owners permision unless your in rural Scotland or bits of Dartmoor. |
