Yeah it's funny for a while until they start destroying things... My Staffy does it, he also catches and eats spiders, moths and mice but he doesn't eat the mice. |

we had a big house spider that lived under the sofa( love tarantulas, but hate house spiders) did no one any harm for about about a month. one day it came out on its regular hunt to under the tv, and the dog spotted it and ate it lol |

I have a 10 month old Rottie who was chasing a butterfly in the park yesterday. Daughter and I were crying with laughter at his antics. Not quite so funny when he's charging round the livingroom though lol |

"our rotty is scared of butterflys and grasshopers, she goes back about 6 foot with all four paws off the floor. so much for a savage dog. lol
"
Lol quite. Mine and a wee Staffy bitch were charging about the park today. He's about three times the size of her, but she had him well under the paw. They had a ball, mouthed at each other, she bowled him over, but not one growl or snarl was heard. So much for devil dogs. (sorry for going off thread there) |

Well treated and trained dogs are hardly ever a problem, it's the bad owners that create the problems. My dog (as most dogs) is too stupid to know he's a Staffy...
He's wearing a surgical collar at the moment and keeps scratching that instead of the cut on his face He thinks he's everybody and every dogs new best mate, he had a pitbull by the throat once but that was after the pitbull bit him so I can't argue with that really. If another dog snaps at him he treats it as a game of chase and tucks his tail in and legs it and seems to really enjoy it lol
He makes me laugh and smile even on the crappiest of days. |
