Any one else feel a little bit odd when going from some 'old faithfull's to the new shoes?

Im not a massive fan of shoes, but do have one pair that i always wear to work as they are sooooo comfy and when its 12 hours on your feet its important they are comfortable. Sadly i feel they have come to their end and so i went and bought some new ones..

RIP old shoes.. you served me well lol

maybe im tight with money but £45 was a lot to spent on one pair.. if they were cheaper i probably would have.

ended up with Sketchers.. the plan was actually to find some Crocs.. NOT the clogg style ones though the more 'dolly shoe' style

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I love new shoes but I wouldn't wear them for a whole day until they are properly broken in.

I bought some lovely new sandals on Monday. Wore them for the second time last night and the heel collapsed as we were walking to the pub

Got to take them back for a refund on Monday. I'm gutted, they were so pretty

Do you rotate between a few select pairs or can you literally wear whichever shoes match your outfit?

Working in Health Care my shoes have to match certain criteria but id imagine footwear regulations to be more relaxed when it comes to office/admin type roles

Where I used to work I would wear ant kind of shoe with massive heels lol but it's not allowed where I am now. Going out I will try to match an out fit to the shoes I want to wear.

I have 45 pairs of shoes and boots: 40 of them have never been worn. I could have added to my tally today if I could have been arsed!

I wear my old faithfuls until my soles hit the grounds. They are then buried with full honours and 21 gun salute in recognition of their hard work.

New wedges on today.. Expensive but comfy, so worth the extra... No blisters...

Can't stand the super high wedges with a curved sole, keep hurting my ankle.

Decent supportive flats for work most days....

Isn't it always the case though that the scruffiest shoes are the comfiest? I have to mentally tally up what's worst in work, look like a tramp or feel like I haven't been on my feet for 10 hours
