A Con it certainly is. I was on a different website before and paid up hundreds of pounds towards subscription. Several of the profiles were fake and it was way too obvious with pictures of fashion models being added to profile pictures. Have been on this site for about a year, despite having met only one person so far, the profiles seem more 'real'.
