Stopped for a Coffee at the Services today and a Woman got off a coach with a top with Fab written on it, I nearly choked and started giggling like a naughty kid, now I'm wondering |

"Perhaps she just likes Thunderbirds?
Don't get it.
F.A.B."
erm, does it help if I explain I've never seen Thunderbirds?
I'm a little too young I think. |

Drove past a recently refurbished pub in the Black Country, at the weekend. They had a sign advertizing accommodation, that said "all rooms nearly en-suite" |

Too young, my arse. T/Birds have been around for eons and you must have grown up in a cave if you haven't heard of it or seen at least one episode.
Anyway, according to the Urban Dictionary, "FAB" from the TV show "Thunderbirds" stood for "Full Acknowledgment of Broadcast," the equivalent of 10-4. Gerry Anderson, the producer of "Thunderbirds," was apparently known for these obscure catch phrases.
• There are two other possible meanings. FAB as a sort of countersign meant "Fully Advised, Briefed" -- in other words, like Roger, Wilco. Another angle is that it was short for "Fabulous" -- and this was endorsed by the actor who voiced Scott Tracy.
• A further definition is Final Audio Broadcast, as they generally signed off with F.A.B.- A paramilitary acronym, like those used by Police agencies (such as a 2ll in progress- an armed robbery) It is believed to mean Fully advised, Briefed, in response to an emergency call- used somewhat like 'Roger, Wilco' by the USAAF in World War II. Can also refer to as an adjective, fabulous- as in Fab Four. it is rumored the license number of the actress Jayne Mansfield was FAB-l Golden State. the Lady Penelope character in Thunderbirds borrowed the license code (but not Golden State) and the Pink color-of-arm, or rather vehicle. |

best ever for me was on a bus, a guy got up to get off and for whatever reason the bus slammed on the brakes, the guy flew forward from the back of the bus and slid the entire length face down on the floor, when he eventually got off, the whole bus roared with laughter, he didn't look amused |

Saw an old lady in St Austell doing her shopping. She had a German Shepherd dog with "throw-over" motor cycle panniers on it's back to carry the old girls shopping. Bet nobody tried to snatch her bag |
