Bradford

Well it's August 1st and just received an email from a pub chain for Christmas.

I swear they are getting earlier and earlier.

Who knows

Most pub chains have meetings to decide their Xmas menus in August, hence once sorted out goes the marketing

I used to own a restaurant with my 1st hubby and we used to start the adverts for Christmas around this time so it's unusual to hear this. As soon as the children go back to school, people do start thinking about xmas..... Ruby

I've just booked our Christmas Party for the belly dancing group I'm with. If you want a table at good restaurants, especially at the weekend, leave it much longer and you won't get in

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I went for a pub lunch with a friend on Tuesday and they had a whole Christmas display with tinsel, etc, and a sign saying 'Book now for Christmas'. But this same pub does it every year - apparently it gets booked up fast.
