Just back from out driving with my daughter who is learning to drive. She's having driving lessons with a instructor and he says she's soon ready for her test.

So I insured her on my car to get more experience and to be more confident and I've been taking her out every day. She's doing really well also.

But this morning some loud mouthed idiot decided to put his foot down and abuse her.

It was her right of way but he wasnt having it !!! Oh no speed up and nearly ram us!!!

Fuming is not the word... We have all had to learn and a little bit of patience doesn't do any harm!!!

Ok that's my Thursday rant over with

with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc

I always feel sorry for learner drivers. People seem to have no patience towards them, and either tail gate them or eff and blind or aggressive towards them.

We were all learners once!

However, even though they need to learn, I personally disagree with taking them out in rush hour unless they are confident and good enough at driving.

I was only taken out in rush hours when my instructor thought I was capable. Until then she would only take me out during quieter times.

Now I will definitely admit to having no patience for learner drivers who should not be on the road during rush hour or roads they are not confident on.

Not a village like I live in or when I learnt, big major roads where they almost cause accidents and hold ups through hesitation and inability.

Nearly had a learner driver cause a 4 car pile up not long ago, one being mine.

The learner decided to pull out across a dual carriage section on a busy 60 mph road without paying attention to the other cars and no sense of Highway Code!

The instructor was very late to use the dual brake and the car stalled.

If it wasn't for me and the other cars involved there would have been a nasty accident.

Yes I did swear but at the instructor who was to blame for taking their charge on a road they could not handle.
