There are some well-known people I’ve never met but who I hugely admire….
However I think its only fair to award someone true hero status having met them in person…..
So I have many hero’s who are normal everyday folk that do remarkable things trying to overcome life’s challenges not only for themselves but in trying to improve the lives of those less fortunate individuals for whom help and support is a necessity… |

Due to work over the years I've met numerous 'celebs' and they usually break down in to two groups- nice ordinary people who just happen to be well known, usually happy to chat and easy to get on with.
Then there are the diva/do you know who I am types who you usually want to get away from as soon as possible due to the crushing effect of their over inflated ego.
Luckily most are in the first group. If you do get to meet your hero, be nice and talk to them like a person you've met on the bus, you'll get a better response from most if you don't dribble and act like a rabbit in the headlights |

I don't know about "hero" but I was approached by a guy outside the train station once who claimed to be our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ and kept offering to save my soul in exchange for a cigarette...
Me thinks he may have been a little disingenuous but I can't be sure.
