Is it a long walk? You can punish him for being late as well

Let him walk for the rest of the series, that will teach him.

when the aussies were great and England was crap they often let England win a test - normally when they were 4-0 up. I think they didn't want England to give up!

South Devon

There is an argument to say that if England thrash Aus in this and following series, it might be the beginning of the end of Test cricket. Maybe the poor guy's views are strategic, not merely tactical.

Back of Beyond

Does he not understand this is one of the great contests that have to be won at all costs? Just like the 6 nations, can't mention footy cos that is never going to happen!

Nothing more than a total whitewash is due. Remind him of how the aussies are still gloating of 5-0 wins over us in the past!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I agree with your employee. I don't really do the cricket but it will make the final two tests more interesting if the Aussies win this one and the next.

Neither of us make time for cricket, not struckon it but wouldn't say we hate it. I have worked at OT for a test against the Aussies. Again a game better enjoyed live and not on the box/radio

Its not meant to be interesting, Its Australia and a whitewash suits me fine purely for pub banter

Why would anyone turn up for the final two?

who cares who turns up for the remaining games, its professional sport and the object is to win not keep it interesting
