Not much of a Maiden fan but Bruce Dickinson would definitely be on my fantasy dinner guest list- seems like a lovely bloke and totally fascinating- member of one of the worlds most successful bands ever, world class fencer who competed for Britain, successful best selling author and inbetween all that he also trained as a commercial pilot- dudes a leg end |

First saw them at The Assembly Rooms, Derby in 1981 when Paul Di'Anno was still lead singer. They were supported that night by a very young Def Leppard.....

Saw then in Paris at Bercy, and Trivium were the support act.
Night to remember as I stood up as Maiden cam on stage, the only others to stand up were 5 people behind me, they were Dutch.
The french do not get up!!!
Very weird.
