No, not gays, but a house in Devon.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-23127907
Ccouncillor Joan Lambert, who said the cottage "was garish and doesn't fit in to the local area".
She said: "It is the wrong type of pink, as it is particularly vibrant."
I think it looks rather nice and fetching.
Any thoughts? |

I was interested enough to go on Google maps and look at her cottage prior to painting ( only cos I like the pink ones I pass in Midlothian on my way to Edin )
It WAS already pink......
Bloody jobsworths. |

Just a thought ......
From the link in the O.P. I read the news article.
From the news article I knew her village and cottage name ....
From the village I went to Google Maps ....
From Google maps I found her house......
The newspaper has her name in it too ......
Stalker in the making or what ......
Time for tea I think |

I remember a few years ago, a pub in Walsall was ordered to take down some shutters it had fitted to the outside of the building as it 'wasn't in keeping with the rest of the area' (bearing in mind half the surrounding area is like the arse end on beiruit ) and they enforced this using lack of planning permission.
So, to stick two fingers up at them and get lots of publicity, the owner painted it pink with yellow spots, just like Mr Blobby- and the council couldn't a thing about it as paint didn't need permission |
