The young girl would run through the house and you could hear my sister talking to her. We knew her name was Rita.

I love the paranormal. Some years ago, I thought my husband was coming to bed and felt him leaning over me so I turned around to talk to him but it wasn't. It was a looming black mass. I saw it, felt it inches from my face. I let out such a high pitched bitch scream that I embarrassed myself. But I covered myself from head to toe and didn't come out till morning. Lol Hubby was in his office till the wee hours. Still love the paranormal, just knocked down a notch  |

Used to hear a horse walking around, echoing through the stables when I used to do stable night guard, go and investigate, nothing there. 
About 200 blokes all heard it till they refurbished the stables. Now it's gone. Bit of a legend now. |

I feel them around me, and I see things out of the corner of my eye etc! I absolutley believe and have had too much proof not to believe! I used to have a presence in one of the bedrooms in my house and it was a nice presence either!! It always made its presence felt when I went in their! I tried to sleep in their one night and actually had to leave the room as I could feel it in the room and it did not like me being there! I have to other friends who are very sensitive to the parnormal too! They both also on seperate occassions slept in the room and had the same experience! When they told me about it, I then fessed up and told them about the presence but didn't tell them beforehand! However it seems one of my friend managed to get rid of the presence! Her dad is on the other side and she asked him for help to get rid of the presence and it hasn't been back since! That bedrrom is now my bedrrom and I have no problems sleeping in there! But for a long time I used to refuse to go in there!!! |

When I lived with my ex, I was in the kitchen making a cuppa, and someone came down the stairs. It was an old plump guy wearing trousers, a white vest and braces. Not my ex I might add lol. It was only a fleeting glance but so real.
I got talking to some neighbours not long after and asked them about the previous owners of the house, and they described the man exactly as I had seen him! I didn't tell them I had 'seen' him or they might have called Ghostbusters.  |

When I was growing up there was a ghost that used to wonder through the house like it still owned the place, the living room door would open then close then the kitchen door would open and then close, my mom used to say hello to it and when I would leave a door open she would say "even the ghost shuts the door and he's dead"
Also saw my dad the day before my son was born, and when I wake up on my birthday I can smell old holborn and stout the same smell as my grandad who was my hero and Irish so the fact that my birthday is st Patrick's day makes me think its him he never missed seeing me on my birthday |

yes when i was a teenager..... walked into our home and saw a friend of my parents stood in the one room, he spoke to me said hello, and i asked how he was . he said he was waiting for mum and dad to come home........... bit odd i thought but back then doors were left open...... five mins later went back to chat to him and he was gone.... when i told my mu later she told me he had died about 2 days before i saw him  |

It's not a myth, goats are everywhere, and a right pain chewing stuff. I knew a guy who had sex with a goat, and they had kids together.

Yes I have. Most recent was last year. I was living in a refuge at the time. I saw a little girl about 10ish run across the landing corridor wearing nothing but a long white nighty. Didn't dawn on me til I went downstairs and mentioned it to the women. Who reminded me, the only little girl that were actually living in the home was a little black girl! Weird... |

Im so easily freaked out by this stuff but it fascinates me!
Think theres a ghost of a child in my house. Gibby was home alone and in the kitchen doing dishes, he had to keep coming out to look into the hall as he swore he could hear someone running up and down the hall. He was convinced the kids were back but it was just him in lol
Also, we had a clothes rack full of stuff drying. A pair of trousers right at the end bit and one leg just randomly went flying in the air, as if someone had just smacked it from underneath.
My sis jokes about ghosts following me as each house Ive lived in has had something going on lol I dont like it!

i lived in a house that had a marble mauseleum with a
crypt below it, being a non believer i liked to go in there to play music as it had really nice acoustics.One day a friend and i were in there and we experienced a sudden darkening and a kind of black wind rushed up from the crypt and passed the door slamming it shut.
Then we realised that just where the black form had been was a commemorative stone for someone who had died that very day 200 years before! freaked ?....just a bit! x |

On the stairs was a tall long manly figure bright white almost translucent slim too!..I was walking up as it was coming down so moved around it..
Then about 2 years later ( daytime) I was ironong in our living room while my partner and the kida was watching tv..there was this cold draft that came though from the kitchen through to the living room we all felt it!..I was stood opposite the doorway ironing & I saw stood there a young person ( boy) well I think it was a boy as the clothes was old but there was no head I could see blue long oldfashioned coat big white coller and shoes.im looking at it in shock ( I really thought a boy had walked in the back door!..only the bk door was shut..my partner at the time said I went so pale..never seen or believed before I saw them both..still in the same houae tho seen nothing since!!...one of my kids said there stuff had been moved before... |

Well it's just my interpretation and belief. It isn't formulaic that can be proven on a piece of paper.
The 'evidence' I look to is many and varied. From prophecies that have come true, remarkable chsnge in people, modern dsy miracles, speaking in tongues and othr gifts.
But also look at s ssimple tree. Despite our intelligence and sophistication we can't make one. Everything you currently are looking at is a 'creation' , a product, made by something or someone. A 'creator' . Same goes for a tree and the world. The eco system. ..... etc etc |

Most definately yes, even have some pics to prove it. My dad died when he ws 52. I was 30. He had worked for the railway all his life so a gwr bench with an inscription was put on his home station, I took his grandkids there and took some photos , it was completely deserted as it was August b hol. Well forgot about the film and then found it about a yr after with some others and decided to get them developed. Well there behind them in 3 pics getting more and more focused is my dad in his uniform. He was buried in it. Thats not the spooky thing though, I didnt look at pics straight away that day it was a coupke of days after I was lying on sofa and just heard a voice say photos. |

I don't want to belittle your experience , but it IS explainable. The film will have degraded, the image YOU can see will not be recognisable by others, because they don't know what they are supposed to be seeing. The brain is designed to see faces etc as thats how we have evolved, the same reason people see faces in wallpaper and stained teatowels and burnt toast. You didn't HEAR a voice say photos, you IMAGINED a voice saying photos, it would not have been heard by others or by a recording device. The subject of photos was playing around in your subconcious. |

I once was on a weekend where the topic ws the Holy Spirit. One guy began speaking in tongues. It turned out he was speaking a particular dialect of Russian. A young girl there was the only person able to understand him. The guy could only speak English. |

Please read Charles Darwin's Origin of Species. Evolution points to there being no creator. Nothing has been designed. The God Delusion by Prof Richard Dawkins summarises it very well. He also explains how religion and "sprituality" (call it what you will), have come about.
Why cant I believe God created evolution as his design. Btw evolutionist can track it right back to the big bang but don't know what caused the actual big bang. Creationists believe our world was created in 6actual days. Many others believe evolution and a belief in God can go hand in hand.
The idea of a god creating evolution, negates the whole idea of god. Please read The God Delusion, God cannot logically exist, unless of course, you keep changing the details of your beliefs, to insist on his existence.
I will read it with an open mind. But the idea that God couldnt have created the world via evolution is ridiculous.
I once was on a weekend where the topic ws the Holy Spirit. One guy began speaking in tongues. It turned out he was speaking a particular dialect of Russian. A young girl there was the only person able to understand him. The guy could only speak English.
Sounds like a typical psychics set-up to me. Not one iota of recorded evidence has ever been given to point at the existence of god or any psychic phenomenon. Ever. It is ALWAYS hearsay and second hand accounts. Give me evidence recorded under controlled conditions and I will look at it.
I can vouch that this happened. If you went looking for same or similar you would find that too. You would need to be prepared to admit you were wrong though. I suppose it is just a matter of belief. "
Sorry, but until it can be shown under CONTROLLED CONDITIONS (they never like that), I might take the stories seriously. But as all these psychics and other fakers always say when offered a million pounds by James Randi to show there skill or whatever in front of him, they have NEVER taken up the challenge. Why should they when they can rake money in from people who WANT to believe? It's a self fulfilling prophecy, if you want to hear the voice of god, eventually you (think) you will. |

I don't "see" things but I sense other peoples feelings very strongly... I am whats called an "empath" great for watching porn... horrendous when people around me are hurting. Wish I could switch it off sometimes. |

How can I discover something that is plainly not there? Leprechauns, unicorns and minotaurs are just as likely, as there is just as much proof and evidence of their existence. Nobody GAVE me free will, we are all born with it, as are animals. God is the ultimate get-out clause when something cannot be explained. It's quite a childish idea when you think about it. |

Quantum physics, quantum theory or quantum mechanics look at scientific theories and use experiments based on those theories in test conditions. It's at the edge of science and in all experiments within physics in order to be an accepted principle it has to be performed repeatedly under test conditions not anecdotally in non test conditions.
The paranormal has bugger all to do with quantum theory I'm afraid. If you want to believe in mystical fairies then knock yourself out, however they're as likely as unicorns. |

Wind is a physical object made up of moving molecules. It's not provided by the wind faries
God isn't provable, it's a belief which some people have. People can have that belief and if it gives them emotional support then that's fine but it's not provable and that comes from someone who was a practising catholic for 25 years ( and I have said the same thing then) |

Actually IBM, using an Atomic Force Microscope, successfully managed not only to see molecules but take a picture too. This was in 2009, I think. |

Some can be seen with an atomic force microscope. Some can be seen with normal light and some can be traced. Not all can be seen though. |

Humans have a tendency to find a faith when they can't explain things or things concern them like death. Aztecs had gods, Romans had gods, Egyptians had gods, Thais have Buddha, Indians have Hinduism, Japanese have Shinto, all different and all beliefs. None of them believe in A God so maybe they're all wrong too? What about the billions of atheists? Maybe they're all wrong too? Using the number of people deluded by something isn't evidence of its existence. We used to think the world was flat and some religions believed we were mounted on the backs of turtles and then there's atlas as well. Are all of them equally valid? |
