Maybe because they want to choose who they contact rather than face the flood of messages from single men. This happens even when you say you aren't seeking single men. |

maybe they put no single men to limit the amount of guys who mail them, maybe they prefer to go looking and mail men themselves rather than getting dozens on messages from guys they have no interest in who then moan when they don't get a reply  |

Haha yeah too true. I have seen that happen.
On the subject of it - I just think it filters out the crap. Stops a load of messages they might not want.
