If I see one I like the look of I usually call the company directly and as if they will do the deal directly.

None have ever said no. The voucher companies take a big %age of the voucher price so they are normally happy to do it directly

they do work but check the company's direct website as sometimes the wowcha offer is no different to what the company are offering anyway

other ones can be a bargain though, don't tell me you've found a sex toy one

I agree i do the same with the lateroom website, find a hotel and then phone the hotel direct sometimes they even better the price as not paying the commission

They work - if you can get an appointment as they've overbooked themselves massively.

I've bought 4 of these types of vouchers (not necessarily Wowcher) and only been able to use 2 of them, having to ight for a refund for the other 2 as they couldn't offer me an appointment even after several months.

My first experience of a Woucher voucher was more of an ouch than a wow. If you don't cash the voucher in by their time scale you loose your money, no way of getting it back. I lost £80, so definitely wont be using them again.
