Great band Van Halen...

Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love has one of the most memorable rock guitar riffs.

Could have at least got the lyrics right!

I'm a HUGE Van Halen fan. I even have their logo tattoo'd on my calf and have travelled to the States to see them on the reunion tour.

Not to mention the EBMM, Peavey and EVH guitars and amps that I own.

Yup, I'm a bit of a sad fan boy. It's good to know there are a few other fans around though...

To be honest its not my favourite Van Halen tune (that accolade goes to Unchained from the Fair Warning album). But its a good pop rock tune. That whole album (5150) was pretty good, the addition of Sammy Hagar on vocals opned them up to power ballads which served them well for the following 10yrs...

I love all that 80's rock type thingy, love sleaze rock too. I write/review rock now so I listen to a broader range but my personal taste still comes back to sleazy, thumping beats

Yeah, its good that he's back although he's kinda lost his voice and his stage act is a little cheesey. Do you have the new album they released last year (A Different Kind Of Truth)?

Some crackin' tunes on that one.

Just a shame Michael Anthony is no longer on bass or singing backup as the last (and only) time I saw the original lineup was back in 1984 and I was only a kid back then...
