I have done a little bit of research and I found out that you are allowed to save £5,760 into an isa a year without being taxed on it. Also I have see that if you save £5,750 and you try putting in £15. It will not let you and it doesn't put in the differance either.

Anyway my question is. If you save £5,760 with natwest for example. Are you allowed to go into HSBC and get another Isa in your own name or will it class as fraud? So banks don't let you do it unless you lie to them.

No the total amount that you have in your different isas cannot exceed the limit. Mr taxman would find out.
