Arriving too early is as bad as too late.
At least if someone is going to be late but notifies you,you know you'll be ready when they arrive.
Nothing worse than someone knocking on your door stupidly early when you've just got out of the shower or halfeway through putting your face on,GRRRRRRR!

my personnel biggest hate is people that are late!
have always been someone that turns up on time, and was drummed into me even more with time spent in the army, where the rule is, if your told to be somewhere at 9, your late if your not there by 8.55 |

But I wouldndn't do that either.
I'd sit in a layby or a car park, listen to the radio in the car or have a walk around the shops ....
Then I'd knock at the door at the time I was expected .......... |

This is the thing which causes the most arguments in my home.
Hubby and the kids always forget something and we have to go back for it, which would be fine is it was only every now and then but no its every blooming time
I take the longest to get ready so I start then shout at them to get ready, I am ready shoes on face on the lot and the kids are still fighting over what I want them to wear, hubby is still standing in his boxers and socks asking where something is!!!
And if I send hubby to the shops and he has to be back for anything forget it he lives in his own timezone - its that bad I now tell him everything we have to do is an hour earlier than it really is just so we can get there on time!!

I'll be the first to fess up....
I am "the late one"... sorry!!!
its in the genes... I was 2 weeks late popping out and its just started from there...
Mind you... saying that, I am the almost punctual one of the family... there are a lot worse than me!!!
mine has gotten a lot better... just because mentally it has gotten to the stage where I know it upset people... so I work in my head about 1/2 hr forward....
mind you for parties 8pm still means 8.30-8.45...... one step at a time....... |

Me too,I seem to be in some sort of timewarp.
No matter how much time I have, forces conspire against me,the time goes twice as fast and I'm late again .
Trace, on the other hand,is a stickler for punctuality,so I leave it up to her.
Mind you though,If I say I'll be somewhere,then I will,I may be late but I won't let folk down!
