I need to make some for Friday and don't know where to start, ideas please

Also finger food ideas, keep the cost low, I'm on a budget

pineapple juice, pimms, vodka,peach snaps ,aint got a name but when England play in the world cup and we have family around for parties it always goes down well and is quite potent hic!!!

If you are after an alcoholic punch, maybe like Pimms, Lidl do a version which is more value and just as nice as the Aldi version.

Maybe look for a Sangria recipe on line.

Martin Lewis' site does give some good ideas actually and tips where to get the drinks and what is on offer.

Google "alternative Pimms"

And look on his site forums as there are good tips.

For finger food maybe try Iceland, they do quite nice Party Platters, or maybe Asda first thing in the morning for some 'Whoops' items.

Sometimes you need to have patience for rooting through shite.

Bacardi, amaretto, (add vodka if you want strength) and mixed fruit. Always goes down a treat, especially with breakfast
