I had one of these on Thursday and it is very painful and awkward to move about,just wondering if anybody else has had the same operation and could give me some tips to a full and healthy recovery? Thanks |

"Rest until staples are taken out, regular pain relief.....takes on average 6-8 weeks recovery. Not a pleasant proceedure....take care of yourself. xxx"
Another thing is to remember that your body's energy is being used to recover. The trick is to recognise when you're doing too much, and stopping, otherwise your body can't sustain the energy cheques you're trying to cash !!  |
