Rather than make negative comnents as i did on others royal baby topics this is dedicated to folk like me who do not give a shit about the royals and the baby.
Its fantastic for for the parents but for me its just another mouth to be paid for by taxpayers which in my view we should not have to do as we keep getting told we have no money.
William and kate and indeed harry who try to pretend to be normal ie arny jobs which gas to be commended but to be taken serious should not accept one penny more than they get from their ordinary jobs.
I believe head of throne should be kept the rest left to fend for themselves and the vast amount of palaces should be either opened as museums or better still made into place for homeless to live
A drain on finances of this magnitude should not be ignored just because they have the title of royal. |

They aren't a drain on finances. They cost 40 million a year which is approx 65/70p per person and tourism etc related to them brings in 160 million not including money that the taxi drivers, hotels, b&bs, restaurants etc make extra from the tourists as well, |

Has anyone else mused that if Diana was still alive she would now b a grandmother!
No doubt with her love of children she would have been THRILLED
N probably brought alot more common sense to proceedings than those toadying stuffed advisors that seem to gravitate around the Windsors |

I did ask yesterday for people to start their own thread rather than spoil other peoples threads....so that is what the OP has done so you can't complain about that.
It looks like posters on this thread showed the same respect as others did on the other thread...none...but I am not sure what anyone expects if double standards is being asked for. |
